Filling well
Most Alaska sailings happen in the bright middle of summer. This one is deliberately at the end of it. By late September the daylight has pulled back far enough that the aurora becomes a real possibility from the deck — and the ports have quieted down.
The route takes in Ketchikan, a slow morning at the face of Dawes Glacier in Endicott Arm, an afternoon and evening in Juneau, a full day in Skagway, and a run through the Inside Passage. Three sea days give you the ship itself, which on Celebrity Edge is a genuine part of the trip.
This one began as an informal gathering among friends and has grown from there. It is open to anyone, and it has the easy feeling that comes with a group that already knows each other a little.

Worth knowing
Late-season Alaska means cooler days and better light. Bring layers and a real jacket; the glacier morning is cold on deck and worth every minute of it.
Seattle and Vancouver are both worth extra nights. We routinely add them at either end.
